It seems the most logical next test is to install windows on another hard drive. Does that seem like a good idea?

After reinstalling the GPU, the green pixel flash happened. It flashes green, then the system shows a black screen for 10 seconds. Then the system reboots itself. Second time it doesn't flash green, but it flashes the MSI screen, appearing to start over. Then it loads windows up.
