Have you tried taking the new ram out and seeing if it still works? Not sure this would be a RAM issue.

I tried slots A2 B2 but I just got error 55- Memory Not Installed Slot C2 requires the cooler to change orientation Also maybe a stupid question but this wouldn't have anything to do with the cpu would it?

When you mean the other side do you mean trying the A2 B2 C2 D2 slots? or A1 A2 B1 B2

Would you recommend further testing or is it time to send the board back? (Seriously hating the Noctua D12s right now! makes getting ram in and out super awkward.

So far my findings Slot D1, All ram works, computer starts fine, shows in Bios. Slot A1 - E1 Ram Stick - Error 55 memory not installed D1 Ram Stick - Error 53 error initialising memory B1 Ram Stick - Error 53 A1 Ram Stick - Failed to post 3 times then started.

Thanks I will try them now. I put the D1 ram into the A1 slot where post failed twice and restarted but now seems to be working perfectly. I will test the other sticks. It would be unlikely to have 3 dead sticks of ram though?
