You really don't need to upgrade... If you spend the money on skylake you will also need new ddr4 ram... If you insist on changing cpu look at a haswell i7.. That way you only need to replace the cpu and you can sell the 4690 you have now

The msi graph shows the whole system ram usage not just what the game is using... Stop spouting no sense.. If the game needs more ram it would use some from the 3.5gb left over not being used

If you do buy more ram it will be better used as a paper weight because you won't see a 1fps increase as your only using 4.5gb

You guys have just cost home money for no reason... Cancel your ram order, in game you was only using 4.5gb of ram.... You have 8gb so plenty of head room there... Your CPU usage is high but your gpu usage is at 99% most of the time from the graph you showed... Stop worrying and start enjoying...

You need to think about replacing the disk is windows update is pegging it at 100%...

Try hitting f2 or del when you start the pc up.. I don't think it automatically loads the bois, I think it try's to boot into windows straight off.

Do you get random blue screen or crashes? Does your motherboard recognise all your hardware? Correct amount of ram, the right cpu, the right sata drives... If so it's really not worth updating

Is there something you need that the new bios gives? If not don't just update bios for the sake of it... My opinion on bios updates if it ain't broke don't fix it... However if you do want to press ahead, make sure you back up everything just in case worst case happens... You should be able to...

Ssd for games like Skyrim really improves loading times but no fps gains... I would advise you to wait on a gpu upgrade thou with new cards coming within months
