I took the computer entirely apart and cleaned it quite thoroughly. However that doesn't seem to helped much if at all. Having just turned it on and opened this my core temperatures are at 63 C and are edging their way up into the 70s. I'm not convinced my CPU fan is spinning at maximum speed...
