Which specs are better? (READ PLEASE)

Well specs wise B is much better but it is also overkill for what you will be doing. If you go with A you will have more than enought power for recording and minecraft. The 760 should also play most other games at high settings as well. The only change I would make to A is not getting a 1TB ssd...

Intel or AMD also general budget gaming

Basically what kristianAA said an 8320 and a r9 280x (which is a rebranded 7970) should last you a while. Here is a part list. Just replace the 7950 with a r9 280x. The total price should come to $770 Sorry I can't accually edit because I'm on my iPod. PCPartPicker part list...

Intel or AMD also general budget gaming

Here is a cheaper build if you want to save money. And yes the 7950 will be great as well. Not including the hard drive, os or disk drive as you mentioned. PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1YzZh Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1YzZh/by_merchant/...

    upgrading my pc for gaming

How about this. It should play almost all games at max settings at your resolution. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1YzpN At 300 watts unfortunately that power supply is not going to cut. If you want to save some money you can go for this build which will still play most games at high at your...

What is my next component upgrade?

Well I don't know what the requirement for games will be when you decide to upgrade your CPU but right now i7's are overkill for gaming. The only thing i7's are really good for is video rendering and CPU intensive tasks that make use of hyperthreading. As of now there are few cases where...

    About to purchase...final opinions?

The R9 280X is a renamed 7970 and for £20 that is definitely an upgrade worth getting if you have the money.

What is my next component upgrade?

The 770 sounds great and should play battlefield ultra pretty well. Your cpu/mobo should be good but your next upgrade should definelty be your cpu and motherboard to a i5 4670 or similar and a compatible motherboard.

Intel or AMD also general budget gaming

You wont be losing any preformance using PCI 2.0 vs PCIe 3.0 because graphics cards are not fast enought yet to make full use of PCIe 3.0

    New PC need advice!

That builds looks amazing but like Rugnir_Viking said you only really need 1600mhz ram and a i5 4670K will be more than enough for most games and should handle sli 780s fine. Of course if you want a i7 and super fast ram and money isn't an issue then go for it and enjoy your beast of a computer.

Intel or AMD also general budget gaming

Yes AMD for sure for budget builds. At $800 your looking at the FX 8320 or the little bit more budget friendly FX 6300. Both will be good for current gen gaming esspicially the FX 8320 which is a lower clocked FX 8350 which can hold its own against the i7 4770 in most games. And yes since the FX...

    upgrading my pc for gaming

As quilciri said what is your budget because unfortunately your pc right now is not up to scratch for current gen pc gaming. If you give us an approximate budget we can help you more easily.

What is my next component upgrade?

Your cpu should be good for gaming for a little longer and everything else looks good so like computerchap said you should get a new graphics card. Your GTX 295 is good preformance wise but its an old card. The 650 Ti which your card is about equal to preformance wise should play battlefield on...
