    Black screen after booting

    Hey guys I just recently encountered a major problem with my pc. After I turn it on, I see the splash screen and the the screen turns black and stays that way. I know my monitor is working perfectly and my system is free of malware so that isn't the problem. Any ideas as to what the problem...
