Streaming is very taxing on your CPU. What are your FPS numbers when you're not streaming?

You may have a 450w but what model # is it? The rating could bring this down to much lower with the efficiency rating. Not to mention as PSUs age, they lose watts.

I would not recommend replacing with an old PSU as they tend to degrade over time.

Buy a PSU from your local pc parts stores and test.

Yes, motherboards have a socket type. For Gaming, Intel is normally best and for video/picture editing, High threaded AMD will be fantastic.
