I’ve tried this, used the ip that my laptop has picked up to try and connect. However while it works for a minute or two, the connection seems to fail (even though it says I’m still connected). Sadly I can’t change any router options or anything as I’m in between apartments and currently in a hotel.

169.254.64.164 is the ip it keeps choosing
