Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

Only one more BSOD today. Dump can be found HERE. Next step is getting a motherboard to start to test my components vs known working ones. Probably just going to make a testbench out of an old optiplex or something. I'll start with CPU/GPU, and then move onto my power supply. I've put my RAM...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

I will run DDU in safe mode and reinstall the Nvidia drivers. When I reinstalled OS this week, I got the most recent ones from Nvidia's site, but I never install Geforce experience with them as I find it's a software I don't really need. I know that it doesn't auto lead to an error - but I also...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

Understood, well until someone can check out that dump file your guess is as good as mine. I think ICUE 100% causes problems though. After only encountering that one crash and otherwise a stable system. I decided I would try and install ICUE because I was tired of having my computer look like a...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

Hey @Colif sorry about the delay. Currently dealing with some ISP issues that should be fixed by tomorrow night. I'm also going to get another motherboard to test all my current hardware in. I think I may have been able to locate the LAN chip in theory, but I think it's covered by the armor...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

Ah my apologies I was slightly confused! If things start to act up I will try that to see if things keep acting up the way they were previously.

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

Sorry if I am at all confused. I am using ethernet now, I always do since the signal in my house isn't that great. It is odd, every single time I have wiped my system and put a new OS on I have to manually install LAN drivers for my ethernet to work. When I do install them things work 100%...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

"So it doesn't even know lan exists until you install drivers? The cable doesn't do anything if plugged in before?" - This exactly. I actually have to install windows every time without internet because of this fact. I always click 'Continue with limited setup'. Every single time I have...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

I use ethernet. Here's a screenshot from that intel site. Should I install that driver even if I don't plan on using wifi unless I am doing a fresh OS install? View: https://imgur.com/0DhKePi I'm not sure if this is normal, but my motherboard never detects ethernet until I install a lan...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

I've downloaded the program for now, if @johnbl can point me to the right column then I'll do my best to gather all the data related to it for y'all. One thing different about this OS install is I have not seen a single crash while at the desktop. Web browsing, video playback, youtube, twitch...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

No idea why onedrive wants to be pick about a text file but I'll give it one last shot before switching cloud services. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AgbBg5dtmgd2gRFc6KunouA98Bep Ah alright, I'm aware USB-C is a connection type, same type my phone uses to charge. I was just confused because I don't...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

I set all available USB's that had a power management tab to not allowing windows to power them down. This is correct, right? Only ones that did not have a power management setting were 'USB Composite Device' in Device Manager When I click on the properties of my ports within that program, I...

I am not exactly sure what to do in the program that you linked, but HERE is the report I was able to copy from within it. If I need to do anything else inside of that program, just let me know.

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

Hey @johnbl thanks again. I will go into device manager and do what you suggest. I just have a few questions. EDIT - I was able to use the power management and disable sleep on every USB EXCEPT FOR 'USB Composite Device', and I can't update firmware/drivers on them either, 4 show up on my...

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

After 45 minutes of running a blend stress test on Prime95 my 3700x won't boost past around 3.6-3.7ghz. Switching tests doesn't seem to help anything. Temps around 65-66c. Is this normal?

Question Strange and completely random BSODs, no real cause.

Things were stable for many hours while running prime 95, zero failures in two hours but I will run a full overnight test tonight and check back in the morning. I just attempted to install the latest drivers from Nvidia, without Geforce Experience. I chose a custom install and I only selected...
