    No Signal Detected

@scout_03: I apologize for the wrong link. I'm using a EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti with G-SYNC Support 2GB GDDR5 128bit, Dual-Link, DVI-I, HDMI, DP Graphics Card (02G-P4-3751-KR). Everything else should be correct. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3dHOx

    No Signal Detected

I finally got my desktop tower to start working but when I connected the monitor, a "no signal detected" was the only thing displayed. I tried removing a stick of RAM, reinstalling the video card, reinstalling the little battery, and switching the cords/channels around. Below is my build except...

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

Update: I just had to leave it on for an hour or two before shorting the power button pins. I think I might have a bit too much cooling agent which is preventing it from warming up automatically. Once I shorted the pins and plugged everything back in, the side panel controls worked fine. :)

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: I tried the motherboard again this evening and managed to turn it on and off twice, succesfully. I only had the PSU, a stick of RAM, and the CPU fan plugged in. However, after I had gotten everything in the case, nothing happened. I then took everything out in order to simulate the...

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: I just tried to short the pins multiple times without success. I've tried with a screwdriver, coin, and a paperclip. Nothing.

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: I just checked the PSU twice and it worked fine both attempts. It has to be the motherboard?

@brarboy: It was still cool to the touch. I'll try out the one you suggested.

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: It's still dead. I tried the above suggestion and still nothing. I'd say my absolute max would be $200 and I'd prefer to buy it off Amazon, if possible.

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: I had everything else connected such as the cpu fan, cooling fans and audio. A bad motherboard? Again? This is the second one of the same model that I've tried. While they do say that the third time's the charm, is there any other you would recommend?

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: Just to make sure I'm doing this right. I unplugged all the other pins such as Power LED + and RESET SW. I then tried a paperclip to connect the two golden pins where the POWER SW is supposed to go according to the picture. Nothing?

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: The Power LED+ and Power LED - both work in the yellow. I apologize for the misinformation. They just won't work side by side, only right behind one another. I tried the screwdriver trick with no results. Perhaps I was doing it wrong? I just checked the PSU with a paperclip and it...

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@bravely: The Power LED connectors, consisting of Power LED+ and Power LED -, do not work unless the LED - is in the grey and the LED + is directly behind it in the yellow. I'm not sure if that's significant or not? I tried it the way you suggested and nothing happened?

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@bravely: I apologize for the late reply. No, the fan does not work when I press the power button. Only the LED lights. I do not hear any beeps from the motherboard speaker? To be honest, I'm not sure where it even is? I'm using a D-Sub and a DVI port to connect my monitor...

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: I went through the list as much as I could and re-did all the parts on the motherboard. I'm still having the same trouble with powering up the system except for the lights.

    ASUS H81I-PLUS Help

@brarboy: The power LEDs are fine, working, and in the correct spot now. The Power, Reset, and HDD pins are not working? They're in the correct spots, I believe. The desktop won't turn on but the motherboard light and power LEDs attached to the side panel work fine?
