It's 3 short beeps and than the fans stay on but nothing happens. What I don't understand is, that I chacked the mobos manule and purchased a RAM that was listed under the supported categori (ddr3 1333Mhz, CL9, non-ECC, 240pin) so it shoud work, right.

Sadly it did not!

Thanks for the quick replay. That was my first thought as well...but it doesn’t seem to be any updates past 2011, and the supported operating system is windows 7 but I’m running windows 10, could this be the problem?
