Today my microphone just doesn't work through any programs. Looked in my sound settings in Windows and for some reason my microphone had a blank name but otherwise everything was in order. If I select "listen to this device" through either Windows' Sound tab or through my sound card settings...

Turns out that at least with this site they actually don't require a serial number for any Kingston RAM as the serial is not printed on the RAM itself so you just say N/A and send in the RAM.

A few weeks ago while away from home one of my RAM sticks just suddenly died (Kingston HyperX Fury). Now, to claim warranty I need to supply the serial number. I got a headset a couple of years back for gaming and it worked fine (has the two cords not USB) but when that laptop died moved to a new laptop and the headset works fine but my mic doesn't work and any program that uses a microphone has a fit if I try to use this mic.
