Yh i'm gunna reinstall all the programs and just drag across files in downloads etc.

So can I have my old drive in with all the programs and then install the same programs on my new drive before I format the old?

Is it possible for me to just delete the windows files on my old HDD and keep all the files or do I need to do a format of my old HDD?

I just bound my Win10 to my Microsoft Account in order to easily do a clean install of Win 10 on my SSD, however now every time I turn my pc on it requires my Microsoft account password. Hassle since other people use my pc, any way to remove this?

Alright cheers, I assume I can clean install using a USB drive since I dont have a disc at hand.

HDD has 500gb used space, and SSD only has 240gb. Total HDD space is 1tb.

Would cloning move everything on my HDD to my SSD, or just the OS. If so, is there a way to only move the OS since my HDD has more than the storage on the SSD.

Kingston A400 Would I need to wipe my old HDD then since I plan on keeping my HDD for my normal files.

Thanks for the quick reply, do you recommend any cloning programs. First time doing thing. And yes it will be in the same PC, just adding an SSD and keeping the old HDD. Also will the old HDD with windows affect my pc (since there will be 2 windows technically)

I'm going to be transferring my OS from my HDD to SSD, i'm just wondering if my drivers for say my gpu will have to be reinstalled or are the drivers transferred along with the OS. Also if anybody knows any hassle-free ways/programs to move the OS then that would be great!
