I bet that if you got a good lawyer they could sue this rightscorp out of existence, since this is simply blackmail and extortion rather than a real settlement. A settlement is used to avoid legal action, blackmail is meant to avoid a non-legal action that is not in a contract.

The ridiculous chart at the end needs to be redone... The performance divided by price is the entire point of the article, yet the chart only shows performance and price... And stop making it a curve for price, these are discrete components!

Better TIM? Sounds like the new chips will finally be as good for overclocking as the i7 2600k/2700k were, those things hit 4GH with stock cooler no-problem. If the 4790 gets even 75% the overclocking potential it could actually give people a reason to upgrade their sandy bridge chips.

Looks like mantel is just another useless gimmick that only works with low performance CPU. They should have spent the money making their CPUs better rather than waste developer's time with that useless backend.
