Curious about the difference of High Density and Low Density RAM. Read that High Density wasn't tested for a lot of motherboard types. Does it still work for most motherboards built in the past few years?

The question isn't how much but rather what density RAM will work... and now what motherboard to get especially considering that money is an issue. Looking for the best bang for the buck. Dosn't need upgradeability. Just to last me for the next year or so when I plan a major upgrade.
