That's correct, there are 4 available plugs. But I wasn't given enough cables. I did note 850w being the recommended power but I felt confident after reading people having no issues with 750w models and pcpartpicker suggesting I'd have enough output.
All of the cables I have are currently used. There are two PCIE cables going into the CPU, as far as I can see, with one slot left being open for an 8pin cable, which was why I bought another.
I didn't want to risk unplugging one of the CPU cables.
I also only find corsair brand cables on amazon.
