Just did it and it still does not work. I'm still thinking it's an update somewhere, but I'm tired of looking for it. Tomorrow I am going to call Lenovo, get the update and start this all over again.

Okay so I can rule out bent pens or a fan error because I just re-installed my old CPU and it booted to desktop just fine. As I have heard I think it may be a BIOS update I need to do. If anyone can tell me how to update my BIOS for an i5-3470 I think that's what I need now.
