Was it overheating THAT much? i've had my GPU at 95C while gaming and havent seen any artifacts/lines on the screen. Besides, this videocards throttle when they reach too much temp, so they dont actually overheat, unles your case had no ventilation, fans, etc... Id do some stress testing with...
