    So since the last time I posted I changed the cpu and ram (borrowed from a friend) and am still having the same issues, so at least I know for sure that it is software related. Any more ideas?

    Yeah when I first installed the os I was still having the problem but by now I obviously have more on it because I use my pc every day. I just went through that whole command prompt ordeal that you linked me and came up short. What next?
