I bought my DVD burner myself and it's made for only one usb connection. It's only 1.5 years old. All new Eternal DVD burners in the market, except for the Buffalo make [it's the only one I know of], has only one usb connection, and no power connection from the wall. I don't like that at all...

Has someone connected a External DVD burner with one USB 2.0 outlet to two USB 2.0 outlets? My DVD burner doesn't work and I believe that it has too little current. Can it be a problem if I do such a connection?
