yeah definatley get a 7200rpm hdd and if you can spend a little extra money i'd recommend an R9 290

it may be an issue with the sensor then rather then the fan

At what point in the boot does this happen?

It is a strange one, could try removing the fan and the thermal compound and reapplying new compound. Maybe a last resort but it's an option. or try upgrading or replacing the fan. Is the fan any louder?

I figured it out, i saw them videos but they did not help as i'm on Windows 7. I held ALT Pressed F2

when you cleaned the tower did you disconnect the cpu fan?

i've tried all the F buttons and none of them load anything except F8. which gives me the option to load in safe mode etc.
