I wonder why they just didn't go with an m.2 option and then have an pci adapter. I'd almost expect most people wanting to buy this will have a board that will have at least one m.2 slot. I'm just not into using my express slots unless it need to be used.

Are you asking if the other harddrive can be used in the same laptop that's already been registered? If so, clone the new drive from the old one and put it in. As long as it's in the same device you shouldn't need to reactivate. If your taking windows to another device with an oem disk...

Vague answer but but a good one. If you can't download the 903Mb file doing through windows update the file will be smaller and it will choose what it sees you need like security updates, specific random files and other such you don't need so it will take much less time. That's my overly late...
