FX 8350. I ran that CPU for 2 years until I upgraded to Ryzen. I picked it up for $100 with a $50 mobo, and it was everything I could have asked for. I even got it to run at 4.7 GHz. Make sure you have good enough cooling, it is old and runs hot. But I definitely recommend it.

I think the first problem was buying razor. I guess what you could do is check the hardware, make sure all wires are good and plugged in all the way. If you kept fixing it with Synapse, it sounds like a software problem. Still check the hardware though.

How old we talking? Also, figure out what the seller did with the processor before you buy, who knows if he ran that thing into the ground.
