    When i shutdown my laptop the screen shut dowen but the power button still light

    although it isnt the smartest thing to do, if all else dails, you should just take out the battery, unplug the charger (if connected) then put the battery back in. It worked with me when nothing else worked, so hopefully it will work with others, too
