The GPU suggestion didn't change anything. I think the overheating ideas are probably correct. Thanks a bunch everyone, I'll try a compatible cooler.

I was using an external speaker, so that may be why. I will try your suggestion with the GPU.

All the cables are plugged in correctly. How am I supposed to measure the temperature if I can't get the video working?

Problem there is that the CPU does not come with one. So if it can be that I will buy a new CPU cooler. Before I do that though, I want to be sure it's not something else.
