OpenCL And CUDA Are Go: GeForce GTX Titan, Tested In Pro Apps

Theres something weird with your ratGPU gpu rendering openCL test results. you say lower is better in seconds but yet the numbers are arranged to make it look like more seconds is better.

    Deciding AMD GPU .

actually you have it backwards. The XT is a cut down tahiti core from the 7900 series and the normal 7800 family uses a pitcairn core. but anyways yeah I would def go for the XT because it will give you results closer to that of a 7950 for a good chunk of less money.

GTX 670 FTW vs HD 7970

oh and be careful with xfx brand cards. I am not outright saying they suck but I have heard alot of sob stories with them. Sapphire is usually a more reliable brand.

GTX 670 FTW vs HD 7970

OK, I have a sapphire 7970 OC boost, with a base core clock of 950 and a boost of 1000. The memory is at 1450mhz stock and 1475mhz but this is just a different way of stating it. basically this 1450mhz ram that is ddr5(all the same as nvidia's) actually translates to speeds of 5800mhz but if you...

Graphic Cards Dilemma !! Please Help

Hey dude I think that power supply is way overkill since you are only using one GPU. I would reccommend a 800w or even 700w because you can save alot of money. even if you were to add on a second 7970 for crossfire later I'm pretty sure an 800watt PSU would be sufficient. oh and btw go for the...

Help on a 2500$ budget gaming/video editing build

Yeah sapphire 7970's have great cooling solutions(Dual-X or vapor-X if you have the money). but why a smaller SSD? I think if hes's doing video editing then a larger SSD will do him better. I think the original motherboard OP had picked out is just as good and will save some money and the same...

GTX 690 vs GTX TITAN VS GTX 680 SLI VS HD 7970 CROSSFIRE

yeah man get one 7970 for now and then later on when you buy the rest of your monitors for surround get another 7970, they might be even cheaper by then. All the reviews are showing that 2 7970's in CF beat a titan and they would only be about $800(unless you get 'em on sale) saving you $200 for...

GTX 680 for Maya, Mudbox and 3DS

I'm not completely sure but from my experience for the last year with maya is that the gpu only matters for the viewports and has nothing to do with rendering frames. so yeah that 3930k would definitely help you out in render times. as for me I use maya and mudbox and with a 7970 GE and a 2500k...
