What type of games do you play? A lot of different mice have different features that improve gameplay of some genres.

I'd say it becomes a new computer when you swap out the motherboard. Don't bother going for an i7 for gaming. An i5 will pretty much equal gaming performance for the i7.

You can run it, but at a very low resolution and at very low quality settings and at a low frame rate... So is it worth trying it? No, your graphics card would be the biggest bottleneck here... Even the CPU isn't a great performer.

Your system should be able to handle it easily. Your GPU is one of the best performing gaming gpus around right now. You might get slightly bottlenecked by your CPU but there wouldn't be a lot of FPS drop at all. Also, you cannot crossfire the 295x2 with a 270.
