NV1 was their first GPU. SGS Thomson manufactured the chips for them. The Diamond Edge 3D board also functioned as an audio interface and game controller input. It came bundled with Sega Virtua Fighter. Back in the day, I bought one at Fry's Electronics.
Would like to see a 140mm wide version. A larger fan at a lower rpm should be slightly quieter. Push-pull fan configurations could also run at lower rpm to maintain similar flow to high rpm fans.
The chassis is just an enclosure with distributed power supply. No 'motherboard/cpu'. The APU modules are managed through ethernet(remote) or USB(boot).
