what many laptops are highly capable of running games like bf3 at livable frame rates plus this isnt a desktop forum and while yes desktop performance is much higher for the price it doesnt have portability which i assume this guy wants

i dont know why people say you need to spend over 1000 dollars to get a decent gaming rig I spent $500 on a dv6-6135dx and i could play most if not all recent games sure you might have to disable some post processing or anti aliasing which i did in some cases but i could easily keep high...

your budgets high for your standards haha 300-400 dollar laptops nowadays could easily fulfill your needs you could just spend the spare money on an SSD and since youre not gaming that saves a lot of money in your pocket i cant recommend a specfic laptop but i recommend not spending...
