Had a tech guy install the latest bios when i first had the pc a year ago but it killed the board, had to send it back! so worried about updating again.

I had a computer tech guy do my bios the first time and it failed and he said he has never had one do it before. Is it possible it will do it again? i.e a known fault.

with my motherboard and what not, can i buy this with no problems? and will i be able to see and feel the difference? AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor (6C/12T, 35MB Cache, 4.2 GHz Max Boost)

Thankyou all for taking your time and replying. SO if I wasn’t looking to buy a motherboard it would pay off to go for Ryzen 2600x but if I were to get the 3600 would i Need to get a new motherboard.. somepeople are saying yes and some, no. Or should I really go for and intel based one?

My budget is around £180:( But my next buy will be a 144-240hzmonitor but most likely 144hz. That being said will the Ryzen 5 2600x reach 144 FPS on rust (cpu based) THANKYOU very much for replying.
