Yes, the info needed for the video card to run, is programmed in the cards bios its self. The motherboard has nothing to do with it.

The gtx 780 should be available soon. The early leaks have it 30-40 percent faster than a gtx 680 and will be roughly 200usd cheaper than a Titan and gtx 690

I personally don't likely Loading the CPU higher than 70c. If you had more temperature headroom I would say go higher, but at 70c imo doesn't leave you much room to go higher. Now that being said, it all depends on how long you want to keep your CPU. Even at 80c you'll probably get another 2...

The new nvidia cards are supposedly coming out later this month. I would wait for this release before buying. At the very least, I may drive current prices down a bit

unfortunately the kepler cards are voltage locked. some people are using custom bios for high overclocks with high end cooling. maybe start researching in that direction if you're not happy with the overclock you have now.

Your case has something to do with it if the airflow is poor. 72c won't hurt the card, but for best performance try keeping it under 70c. I recommend installing Msi afterburner and create a custom fan profile.

Some people are looking for reference cards because they plan on water cooling them.

Try raising the ram timings as you're already pushi g the ram over its stock speed as you start overclocking the fsb. Or you can try adding a little voltage to the ram and maybe a small bump in nb voltage.

Overclocking memory is not going show any real difference in games. Overclocking the CPU will net some frames possibly, and deffinately the gpu.
