I tested with a new power supply and it works! So i essentially have a free h61m motherboard now

I have tried a thermaltake versa h15 psu as it does not have any proprietary connectors but it just refuses to turn on, the power button just flashes this amber light and does not turn on.

I've had this problem before and i think that it usually happens when the fan blades are obstructed and cannot turn on properly. Ask them to check inside the PC and if there is a cable blocking the way on the rear fan, otherwise i cannot help. GL! :D

I recently bought a GA-61M-S1 off ebay titled as "Brand New" for a budget gaming pc (i7-3770, 1050 Ti) and when it arrived, i noticed brown residue/powder on the motherboard near the CPU socket, Can it be fixed? Or would i better off get a replacement from the seller. I have not tested it yet...

I've recently ordered a GA-H61M-DS2 from ebay and it says it supports windows 7 but it never said windows 10. Will it work? Also, it says DX10 on the motherboard. Does this mean that even with a dx12 graphics card it will only support dx10 or dx12? I am pretty new to this stuff so bit confused...
