Mostly for games like starcraft, skyrim, etc. Not looking to have max settings on every game but obviously would like to get the best performance possible. I've been using OCCT for stress testing this CPU while overclocking. I've seen posts that say to stay away from prime95, is there any reason for this? What programs would you recommend? I'm not willing to pay for Aida64 either :)

What's the max temp for the 4690k? Intel website says Tcase @ 72c. Is that the max temp? Also, what is default voltage? running stock I see 1.008 but when I change voltage to be adaptive it's at 1.05

I know they are different things, but i'm putting them up against each other since one can only have either the AMD or nVidia

I'd go with the 280x since Star Citizen and BF4 will be optimized with Mantle.. but G-sync is also coming out so it's a tough choice
