Can I use a 4K TV as a PC monitor?

I asked a similar question quite recently and to be honest the general answer I got was that there aren't really any draw backs. Are you using it for gaming? If so then look for something with low input lag. Be careful though, input lag and response time are not the same thing. Samsung 4k TV's...

    4k 40 inch TV vs 4k 27 inch monitor

I'm going with 4k because I use my PC for a lot more that gaming and I don't want to feel like I have to buy a new display a couple of years down the line. There seems to only be about 15-20ms difference between some of the best monitors and TVs out there right now which is why I'm making a big...

    4k 40 inch TV vs 4k 27 inch monitor

At some point in the next few weeks I'm going to be upgrading my PC with a GTX 1080 and my 1400x900 LG monitor is also due an upgrade. I'm currently considering various monitors like the LG 27UD68P and the Dell P2715Q. Ideally I would like a monitor that is 32 inches+ so that I don't have to...

Looking for a good 4K graphics card

The 1080 is definitely the best card out there however you are paying a lot more for not that much of a performance gain. The price/performance is much better with the 1070. If you're not prepared to pay the extra price then I would choose the 1070 over the 980ti. They both have similar...

Call of Duty: World at War - Crash

Don't really know what the problem might be, but does he use any programs like xfire or any other programs with overlays of some kind? If so, try turning them off maybe. It might be a problem with drivers or something.

    Ugrading to Nvidia 700 series

I know this doesn't answer the full question, but a GTX 770 or maybe a 760ti would be enough to play those games at 60fps at full 1080p, although the 760ti hasn't been released yet.

Amazon Offering Game and Software Downloads in UK

Brilliant! I was thinking that they should do this just yesterday when looking at the prices of BF3 DLC :)

Good GPU for pairing with Intel i5 3470?

I was about to suggest that exact card given that I have it and the 3470. They make a really good combo together. I don't think there are any cards that would necessarily bottleneck an i5. It's generally the graphics card which bottlenecks first.

Is it the GPU fan's that make more noise when running games?

Personally I don't think that it is the stock CPU fan because the stock one that came with my i5 3470 isn't that loud at 100%. The fan on my MSI GTX 660 TF2 sounds like a jet engine at 100% and my case fan is also pretty loud at 100% so I doubt it is the CPU fan. You could try downloading...

    Different Brands of GTX 660

Check the date :P This was a good few months back and I ended up getting the MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr 2. Its a brilliant card and I got at at around £166 which was about £15 cheaper than all the other 660s at the time. It has a really good cooler on it too.

    PCI express Problem

Yes it will work perfectly fine, but since the processor doesn't support PCI 3.0, the GPU will run using PCI 2.0
