Mother board PWM issue or CPU Cooler Issue (GA Z97X + Cooler Master Hyper T4)

Hi everyone, I am making a new build with a Gigabyte GA Z97X UD3H and a i5 4690K. Following some advice I decided on a Hyper T4 from Cooler master (instead of an EVO 212). I noticed some strange behavior on the PWM fan connected and I wanted to ask you guys. When running an intensive program...

Are there any wireless network cards (i like Pci-E) that have drivers for Windows 10?

WELL I think I've found a solution I was looking at the Newegg.com page for this device and found the following in a review: So, this device has worked great for me since I got it. However, when I upgraded to Windows 10, it stopped being able to detect 5GHz networks. This resulted in poor...

Are there any wireless network cards (i like Pci-E) that have drivers for Windows 10?

Are there any wireless network cards (i like Pci-E) that work with Windows 10? (as stated above) My network card doesn't have a Windows 10 driver. The 5GHZ band of my router (has a dual 2.4GHz and 5GHz network, each at 300mbps) doesn't register on my wireless card (my phone and other devices...

Logging into google chrome on a second user account converted that user account to my google id!

I upgraded my kids' computer to Windows 10. It had an administrator account (for me to set things) and two separate user accounts for my daughter and my son. I made the *mistake* of logging into Chrome with my Gmail acct ID while on my Daughter's user account. Now, it's no longer her account...

How much is this worth? - Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC

without an original box you could probably sell it at a discount, but the buyer has no way to know that it hasnt been overclocked to death, so you might need to craigslist it and show that it runs in a computer . . .

Very low fps, benchmark scores, etc with Sapphire R9 290 Tri-x oc

Oh yeah! You got upwards of 90* C on that MSI Afterburner temp chart. 80* itself is risky, definitely look into cooling because those temps will make it work less effectively, not to mention reduce the lifespan or burn up components. A bit more and you're boiling water.

    TRI-X R9 290X 4GB OC vs. "New Edition"?

Ok, after looking at the newegg selling pages The only *certain* reason I'd go with the more expensive "New Edition" would be the UEFI button. I guess that lets you do things in BIOS. But that seems like overkill to me? Another thing that *might* justify the cost *could* be "EyeFinity" -- the...

Very low fps, benchmark scores, etc with Sapphire R9 290 Tri-x oc

Might check your memory? I upgraded my memory from 8gb one channel to 4gb x2 dual channel and my fps gained a lot. But I lost a bit in other areas like rendering. Not that this is your issue but just a thought.

    TRI-X R9 290X 4GB OC vs. "New Edition"?

I'm thinking of getting one too, this is a good question. So many versions of this card, even from Sapphire.

    Crossfire R9 280 OC or Go with a R9 290x?

Thanks for the replies. In terms of my current system specs, I'll put them here, but I'm talking about a new build eventually, which is why I was vague. I just wanted to find out how to think about crossfire/cards. FX 6300 OC'd to 4.4ghz 1.3v low llc (planning to upgrade to either fx 8320 or...

    Crossfire R9 280 OC or Go with a R9 290x?

Question: I currently own an R9 280 OC GPU that is working well enough on my budget. When I have time and money, I want to upgrade. Would it be better to Upgrade to a crossfire ready motherboard, and purchase another R9 280 for Crossfire with my current gpu? Or would I get more...
