Maybe this is like the last update that struggled to install on a lot of machines "This machine isn't ready blah blah blah" I just copied the update files from the USB to the desktop and ran it from there. Bingo.

Yeah cos having just one USB port is so useful and forward thinking too. But when you spent $2500 on $800 worth of laptop you have to convince yourself you did the right thing.

He is right though. Something is running wild on that page. My CPU hits 20%+ on it, 2% when not.

Still pointless as most people using high bitrate will still want to be using the wider freqs associated with that. Only to have it played through laptop speakers or a $20 Trust PC speaker system. Stick to Redbook audio folks!

Alternatively just use one of the other 12 devices you have to hand with a webcam already built in and ready to go. Looking round my living room alone I count 9!

Erm do people really care about this right now? If I was most major tech corporations I'd be shelving a lot of these types of product. Cheap, cheerful and repairable will be the future for a while.

Maybe next generation MS and Sony will just work together on one console instead of producing two similar machines and splitting the market.
