Blue Screens with hal.dll as the cause? Any clue?

Hi there, recently I've had my system BlueScreen 3 times within a few days and I just installed BlueScreenView it says that the cause is "Caused by Driver - hal.dll" and "ntoskrnl.exe" Screenshot is here: http://imgur.com/yIJ2OqJ Any suggestions? Thank you.

Is this a good gaming build? Any upgrade options?

I do agree with a new GPU at a later date, but if you're a gamer that hates load times and are just impatient! I would never buy another PC without an SSD.

Is this a good gaming build? Any upgrade options?

Hi, You don't really need to upgrade this system too much, it should handle just about everything. If I was to recommend anything I would recommend either a Samsung or Intel SSD (Samsung 840 EVO 500GB) is cheap at the moment with the release of the 850. And *if* you really wanted to you could...

I want to build a latest version of 2015 Workstation around 5000$ for rendering

The Samsung 840 EVO 500GB SSD is cheap also since the 850 has released.

    What can cause such noise?

Hi there, This could just be an issue regarding the bearings in the fan, for instance they may be slightly faulty which may cause them to rub or rattle at a certain speed or when starting up since in most cases fan speed is a lot lower when your system is booting up. It won't be the cold...

Help please on my System crashing - tried everything? :(

I ran a full Diagnostic with Intel's SSD Toolbox and my SSD came up with nothing. I'll do the same with my others by trying Seagate's tool. My temps are fine, my CPU never goes above 52 on max load and my GPU is about the same with it being 50-52 on max load. According to HWmonitor, I always...

    Computer boots and beeps twice

2 beeps can mean that there is a problem with the circuit. Check that the motherboard is set properly and that nothing is touching the back panel of the case, also make sure everything is plugged in correctly (front cable feeds to the front of the case to motherboard).

Help please on my System crashing - tried everything? :(

Hi there, I have recently experienced my system locking up and crashing, no warnings are given. It does not blue screen or beep in any way it just freezes whatever I'm doing, most of the time when gaming but it has done it while browsing the web. It first started locking up after a few power...

Psu too large can i remove cd reader?

Fractal Design Midi's are nice, I have one myself, the stock fans are good too. Not too harsh on the price. Plenty of space for airflow and expansion HDD packs + room for a nice heatsink.

    Will it work/How much power?

Yes if you have it going into Sata2 and SSD in Sata1 on the motherboard, just have the SSD as Boot Option 1. That's what I did with mine, then I just format it once it was in by going to Disk Management.

    Building gaming PC

If you have Origin/Steam which I imagine you do, I'd throw in an internal HDD like a 500GB-1TB as the secondary for games that aren't as demanding for load times.

    Will it work/How much power?

If you can get an SSD, and installed your OS on it. 100% won't regret it. Also install games such as BF4 etc on it, loads at the speed of light. DVI-DVI and DVI-HDMI are just about the same. I have 2 monitors one with DVI-HDMI and one with DVI-DVI, can't tell the difference. Good luck
