    [SOLVED] PSU Questions

My concern is that most PSU calculators are estimating 600-650W due to the number of hard disks I have in there , if I remove them, it drops it out to around 500ish so I get your point there but with 6 mechanical hard drives, the DVD drive and the fans installed, it uses more than a 450/550...

    [SOLVED] PSU Questions

Unfortunately, my BIOS doesn't support delayed startup for hard disks or other devices (I am on latest version) so that isn't an option for me. I have found a few that have 130W combined 3.3 & 5V rail at 750W and 850W so I think I will have to stick to one of those (TX750M and a few others do...

    [SOLVED] PSU Questions

Thank you for the suggestion of changing hard drives but I don't have the kind of cash for that right now. Plus, it uses storage spaces parity on all drives. My intention is to slowly replace each drive with a bigger one but keep the parity running across all drives (I am even tempted to add a...

    [SOLVED] Air flow Question

I flipped the AIO around about an hour ago and can confirm there is zero difference in running temperatures between intake and exhaust setup of the AIO. Certainly not on the H55 model anyway - temps are still exactly the same as they were before I swapped it around. It was a prime95 test that...

    [SOLVED] Air flow Question

I will do that but that will create a negative pressure in there which will lead to dust ingress through vents, etc too so do I add an extra fan in to push it back to positive pressure environment? especially given that all the air flow at the bottom of the case is guided out from under the GPU...

    [SOLVED] Air flow Question

This image shows my current air flow (it wouldn't let me use the "picture" option to add it directly to the post so I had to link it). PSU has air straight in and out, it does not feed the PCs internal air flow at all. All intakes are filtered (either with a 120mm filter over the front of the...

Found this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264202706423 And bought it. All up and running and it's an awesome case to work with (though it could do with a little more space cor cable management) 😁 Thanks anyway everyone

Question 1 of my front panel IO USB 3.0 Ports Dont Work

No physical damage to the ports on the front of the case? Is there a loose connector on the front panel end of the wire inside? Are both ports on the same motherboard header cable or do you have more than 1 USB 3 header cable from the front ports?

Question 1 of my front panel IO USB 3.0 Ports Dont Work

Check the port on the motherboard - I recently saw one that had a bent pin that caused exactly the same fault. Once the pin was straightened, both ports were working. It's a 20 pin port in two rows of 10 but one pin on the enf of one of the rows will be missing anyway. Like this...
