Adata XPG Gaming D10 16 GB RAM 2666 mhz how to oc ?

I'll read an artical, blog.. whatever for anything showing that level of improvement and if so... the MF messed up bad and you're just fixing the defect. Maybe you saw a full system OC and the CPU, RAM and GPU together gained +20 fps. Running DDR3 at 1866 CL5 and 3200 CL17, while the second may...

    Overclock causes high ping?

Or check your bios settings for any mistakes OCing your cpu. Make sure you followed best practices and nothing is set to auto, high, on or off that shouldn't be. Sometimes a checkbox, ", .001v or even dust can mean the difference in stability and performance.

    Overclock causes high ping?

I'd be interested in seeing some data on some before and after. Like ping a few servers online, your own router, maybe run speedtest.ney and Google speed test, then OC and repeat.

    Overclock causes high ping?

Shot in the dark but are you using inboard NiC or pci ethernet\wifi? Run the OC and then run CMD as admin and try this: bcdedit /set useplatformclock true To set back to default: bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock You can also sync internal clock or target new server try doing this if...

Which of the 3 processors listed would be best for my build?

I wasnt aware any of those were supported by that board. I would just get a e5520 as xeon are not made to game and will handle file transfers and network shares fine.

    Overclock causes high ping?

Well, not normally. Maybe the OC has some instability to it. Did you save your setting so you can switch back and forth? Set everything back to default and check your ping again.

Adata XPG Gaming D10 16 GB RAM 2666 mhz how to oc ?

Things may have changed from back when I OC more often, but normally you would need to OC the cpu and the ram. FSB normally would match each other. I would Google overclocking guides but again I dont think your going to see a very useful improvement. Did you check your bios for XMP profiles?

Adata XPG Gaming D10 16 GB RAM 2666 mhz how to oc ?

You really shouldn't, your most likely going to reduce the latency and probably wont see any benefit. Why do you want to OC the ram? Normally if the manufacturer wanted you to OC the ram they would have provided a XMP profile with all the right timings.

CPU cooler turns on then turns off, but computer still running

Well at startup it's normal for the fans to spin up then slow down but not stop. You should have more than one header for the cpu on your motherboard. Try another header, if the same thing occurs then try another cooler. If that isnt possible can you easily take it back? Can you boot into bios...

    Intel i7 6700k - temps and voltages

All I'm saying is to check and make sure the heat is being vented out of the machine. The inside air temp does effect each other.

    RX 570 black screen.

Oh, and previous statement may be true as I found a lot about your mobo not supporting UEFI but I didnt read all the way through. If so, just go by a motherboard that fits your tower or I would recommend buying a new tower too. You can get both for $100 or less.

    RX 570 black screen.

Verify your version with the link below. You might already have it and just need to enable UEFI boot in bios. If you are behind in update follow the directions. Here is a how to: https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/drivers/driversdetails?driverId=R318123

    dell latitude 5580 problem gaming?

Power settings change when you unplugged it. Probably lowers the consumption to save battery. Go into powe settings and tell windows to keep everything at max even on battery. But dont expect that laptop to do well in gaming.

Got a refund for RMA. Will 2080 bottleneck 4790k?

Not sure I wouldn't get a 2080 over the 1080 ti but I agree either way you are going to see a nice improvement

    Would an i5 8600k bottleneck a 2080?

Even if it did let's say you get 50 fps in a certain game where your GPU is the bottleneck. Switch to 2080 and now your cpu is bottleneck but now you see 100 fps... do you really care that much?
