I have an msi 7548 apsen mobo with an amd phenom x4 9650 2.3ghz cpu and i was wondering if i could replace the cpu with a better one for cheap and which one i should use. Or should i just keep what i have since i just want an average pc that can run games like sc2 and skyrim on med settings...

    Are these good specs?

After doing some research ibuypowers "standard" psus are noname garbage. Would not reccomend you buy it. Buy seasonic/xfx/antec brand. Your psu can fry other components when it dies amd ibuypower buys cheap untrusted psus. Not worth the gamble.

    Are these good specs?

If they wont tell you the make of the power supply dont buy it. 400w isnt enough anyways. Buy everything but the psu and get a tier 1 or 2 psu from this list seperatly. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html Im not sure the wattage your rig is gonna need but i am sure...

    Are these good specs?

What manufacturer power supply? Isnt 400w pretty low for that build? I would reccomend a seasonic psu at least 500w Psu is the most important part imo. And the manufacturer is a very important detail. If its a bunk oem psu the 400w could be more like 350 or even 300 which could fry your mobo...

Slow business applications due to video?

Sounds like software issues. Do you have ccleaner? If not look into it. Check for startup programs in ccleaner and end any that do not need to start with your pc. Also clean the registry. Ive made worlds of difference in computer speeds with ccleaner alone.

    Opinions on new build.

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html Shoot for tier 1, tier 2 at least. Some in tier 3 are ok

    Opinions on new build.

If your gonna drop that much money on everything else then just drop the money on a seasonic psu man

    Opinions on new build.

I thought thermaltake made good psus too. Check the tomshardware list for psus they are in tiers and try to get a tier 1 or 2 psu with a rig that expensive.
