Well that kinda sucks I dont really have 500gb+ worth of storage to put all my files on I'd love to use the cloning software but I'm afraid it would damage the new ssd while the pc freezes again. Thanks for your help anyway

well I usually get about 10mb/s and then it drops to about 200kb/s and it just keeps happening. I though that moving the adapter to faster USB port would help but nothing changed. The adapter i'm using is tp link tl-wn722n and had no issues with it until now. Also restarting the modem does not help.
