Nevermind, I got it off. New cooker is in, gonna test soon just out right now

https://streamable.com/0o72d I've tried pls con't another screw in the back and holding that with a screw driver, tried putting something on the sides to stop it from moving and still can't get it off.

I've gotten a cooler master tx3, trying to get the back place off f the old one now but when I try and unscrew the last one the back plate screw is moving with it so I can't get the thing off

It may be the pump. The plastic cover for the pump above the cpu is warm/hot to touch. But the radiator metal and pipes arestone cold.

Anyway i can test it? This problem only occurred when i got a new PSU and re-did my thermal paste so it seems very unlikely they'd both go at the same time but still possible.

Hi, I've replaced the thermal paste on my cpu and noticed my temps go super high after doing so (99c) I've tried re applying the paste 5 or 6 times now, no difference. What maybe the problem? My method of applying the paste or? My application method is just a half a pea size blob then diagonally...

Welp, I'm stumped then. I've no idea what to do apart from getting a new PSU then of that fails, get a whole new system which i won't be able to do within the next months.

Is it possible I have to replace the thermal paste? I haven't changed it since i bought it

There's no fans i can connect to that slot. The top can is wired round the back into another cable and the bottom fan for the pumps cable won't go that far

Update, shorted it once more and now. Its ticking once and then turns off again
