Question Terrible performance in Games (AMD Ryzen 7800X3D and ASUS RTX 3070)

Yeah, first thing I checked. My PC case is super small, the easiest connector to get to is my PCI-E 8 pin power connectors. Unplugged and Re-Plugged those in multiple times. I have even tried moving them about the other end too, still the same. Just to be clear, this is a SINGLE cable, with 2...

Question Terrible performance in Games (AMD Ryzen 7800X3D and ASUS RTX 3070)

Ok so I believe I have found my issue. I rebooted my pc, and for some reason, I randomly started seeing 350 - 400 fps (much better experience but still not the best). The one thing that has changed is the "Power Draw", it is now at 170W. Perfcap is showing "VRel", so unreliable voltage is for...

Question Terrible performance in Games (AMD Ryzen 7800X3D and ASUS RTX 3070)

Thanks for the fast reply. It isn't just those videos I am using as a comparison. My friend has basically the same rig and gets around 400fps in CS2 whilst streaming. Yes, I have ran Furmark on my GPU and there are no issues (as expected as this GPU has never had any issues even on my older...

Question Terrible performance in Games (AMD Ryzen 7800X3D and ASUS RTX 3070)

Hey everyone, I have been struggling recently with some performance issues on my recent new build. I have been attempting to play games such as CS2 with performance in the range of average 150 - 200fps, as shown in this screenshot. 200fps may sound fine to most, however others with similar...

Question Gaming PC drop in FPS on a "Cold Boot" (a restart fixes the issue) ?

Hey, Yes it is windows 10. Already tried turning fast boot off like I said in the previous post, the issue still persists. I have updated all of those drivers you have listed, the issue still persists. I do use ethernet rather than wifi. I do not really have any other devices inside my pc...

Question Gaming PC drop in FPS on a "Cold Boot" (a restart fixes the issue) ?

Hi everyone, I am having a strange issue with one of my new PC builds. The issue is that when I first boot my pc up in the evening to play some games, I notice my frame rate is pretty low compared to usual. However, once I do a quick restart the frame rates are fine (much higher). To give an...

[SOLVED] CPU Temperatures way too high, already re-applied thermal paste and reset BIOS

Sorry to revive an old thread, just wanted to let people know I fixed this issue by purchasing a different thermal paste (Arctic Silver 5). Once I replaced the old CPU thermal paste, temps were normal again.

[SOLVED] Temperatures seem very high on ASUS RTX 3070

I purchased an ASUS DUAL OC RTX 3070 when they were released. After a while of using it, I have noticed my pc gets very hot compared to my old 1080ti (which only had a single fan). When playing games, I reach 85c sometimes. With the case open (side panel off) it reaches around 74c. (46c IDLE)...
