Question Prebuilt Gaming PC for under $1500 ?

of course but what you can do is to recommed a better prebuilds within that budget . surely you must know that you can do better than 2x8gb at $1500 . regarding newegg ,honestly i would rather take my chances with a "mystery box" gold rated power supply in the sytem with rtx 5070 , ryzen 7700x...

Question Prebuilt Gaming PC for under $1500 ?

you are stating the obvious , but even for a prebuild 2x8gb is too low ... if you are going to suggest a prebuilt system it should have 2x16gb minimum in 2025 (i´m also stating the obvious).

Question Prebuilt Gaming PC for under $1500 ?

i would not call a $1500 system with 2x8gb of relatively slow memory and 1tb of storage a good deal in 2025 ... 2x16gb is a bare minimum for gaming systems in 2025 if we are talking some sort of comfort and a bit of breathing room . and if you ask me it is starting to shift more towards 2x24gb...

Question hello guys just a quick vote if this deal is worth it (i7 4770K system for 80 bucks)

yes i know , maybe i leave it at matching 2x8gb and try to push memory to higher frequency also . would you say quadro p2000 5gb is better , compared to gtx 1650 if playing older titles and testing it in cs2 is the main objective ? no it will not be my main rig , my main pc is in my...

Question hello guys just a quick vote if this deal is worth it (i7 4770K system for 80 bucks)

yeah i´m aware of the shortcomings when it comes to windows i´m pretty sure i will be able to update it freely to windows 11 if need be . the graphics card is the biggest dilema that quadro with GP 106 processor looks pretty good overall in a 80 bucks rig . i don´t know if anyone here has the...

Build Advice My first full on custom build.

the main difference between the aftermarket models is the VRM design , noise levels of the cooler under load and also its thermal performance . of course there are better or worse models out there but thankfully these days i´m not aware of any model that would be insufficient for the job . and...

Build Advice My first full on custom build.

5060Ti is not a balanced video card for a high end processor and a system with 96-128gb of ram . take the rtx 5070 as a base line and go from there . ideally you should be getting a 5070Ti - anything above that is already at diminishing returns unless you have the money for rtx 5090 in which...

Build Advice My first full on custom build.

if you are doing 3D modeling in auto cad than your GPU will be doing most of the work . generally speaking auto cad can use only limited number of cpu cores so the single core performance and clock speed are the most important factors .

Question Should I upgrade my PC?

i had to modify my original cpu cooler choice , because your case only supports cpu coolers up to 150mm of height (which is very low) , the top psu mount is also not good . maybe you should think about replacing the case and the power supply as well if you are going to upgrade your graphics card...

Build Advice First time upgrading in quite a few years, best upgrade path to take ?

you should still be able to sell your current gpu for at least 320 CAD (maybe even a bit more) if we add that to the budget we can talk better upgrades . your psu will be fine - although you could have listed a specific model of your psu it´s still save to assume that basically any 850w gold...
