I prefer the MSI software myself when given the choice between those two, but my particular favorite is EVGA's entry.

As the title says, i have a friend who is looking to get into PC gaming on the cheap, i have a few 745 SFF systems laying around, and thought that it would be nice to have DDR 3, and core quad/extreme support. The two systems appear to be identical, but we all knows what happens when we assume.

For 1440p i would get the 290, bc my bet is that the 7950 was used for bitcoin mining.
