[SOLVED] I feel a shock when I touch metal even with a anti static bracelet

The USA. It's a simple question though, I dunno why my country matters. I also have a anti static mat, it has the metal clip attached to it. But I dunno if I am suppose to stand on that, or if I sit the computer on that. I think if I still hear or feel a shock when I touch metal the bracelet...

[SOLVED] I feel a shock when I touch metal even with a anti static bracelet

Does that mean it's not working? It's a very small shock. It doesn't hurt but I can tell i had static built up on my body. Should I be worried?

Question Why does my Galaxy S9 show that I'm on a 5Ge network?

Someone on the internet said that my phone doesn't have the right antenna for 5G. But at the top it says 5G. I have AT&T.

Why is the 8th Gen i9 named 7980XE?

Intel Core i9-7980XE Skylake X The first number is the naming scheme is the generation. So 7980 would mean 7 gen. Intel Core i9-9900K Coffee Lake Then 9900k would mean 9th gen which doesn't even exist yet. Both of these are 8th gen chips. So shouldn't they both start with the number 8?

Will a better graphics card make my CPU work harder?

thanks, ill try that. MSI Afterburner is awesome though, it tells you the exact percentage usage of all the cores in your CPU, and your exact usage of GPU and ram. So I know the GPU is the bottleneck but only by 5%, because my CPU stays around 95%. It seems like with a better GPU more pixels...

Will a better graphics card make my CPU work harder?

Really the question had nothing to do with my PC, I guess I just worded it bad. The question was just "will a better graphics card make my CPU work harder?" I didn't know if the fps in a video game effected how hard a CPU works or not. I guess a better question would have been if I put a...

Will a better graphics card make my CPU work harder?

yeah its a budget graphics card, but that's actually 40 fps with everything on ultra and 1080p. But my GPU clock runs maxed out at 100% usage the while time, and my CPU runs at like 95% at all times, (all other programs on my PC are closed of course) So I feel like if I got a GTX 1080 the CPU...

Will a better graphics card make my CPU work harder?

I have a 1050ti and get about 40fps on Far Cry 5. I ran afterburner to see how everything runs. My graphics card is the only thing that is maxed out so I guess that's the bottleneck. But my CPU runs all 6 cores at like 95% usage sometimes while playing games. If I bought a 1080 and started...

Should I delete the BitLocker recovery text file that BitLocker created?

It's just a .txt file with a long number to use in case I forgot my password I guess. It seems kind of pointless to encrypt a drive if a thief gets access to that .txt file they will be able to unlock it. Do you just delete this file?

Why does a Titan X cost more when the proformance is so much worse than a GTX 1080?

http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-Titan-X-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1080/3282vs3603 A normal GTX 1080, not ti is 30% better. And only cost $500. A Titan X is $1000 and is worse... Why would anyone buy the Titan X??

    What does GTX 1080 mean?

I know it's a video card. And I understand the history like 1050, and 970. But why does every brand have the same name and number for the video card? Intel and AMD don't use the same name and numbers for their processors. It doesn't make sense

Unsecured network, but you have to log in on a page with a internet browser

I've seen these networks in companies. You can connect without a password. But you don't get internet access until you log in. When you open a internet browser it takes you to their log in page, You need a log in and password from them to access the internet. What is this called? And how do you...
