Do you realy use your drive daily? For me it is fast and easy just pop the back panel and it is right in my face. I use the Corsair Air 540 so the acces is super quick. If you dont feel like spending a lot of time on this problem I suggest that you forget the BIOS and just unplug it :P

Hi, are you realy sure you dont wanna buy a pre-done water-cooling solution like the corsair h100i. The fact is that a minor overclocking like a 4 to 4.2 GHz on a 4770k doesnt require an expensive watercooling loop. Also it is hasle free and easy to use. You can also cool your gpu afterwards...

My answer to this is just unplug the power to your DVD/BluRay when you dont use it. It takes like 10 seconds to plug back in when you need it. For my case i installed a dvd/drive to get my OS in and then i removed it. Other than that it is a BIOS issue in my opinion.

You dont need a 4770k for gaming you will get 1 to 3 fps more with the 4770k just get a 4670k and a better graphic card.

have you dusted it or do you have any heating problem because the components are maybe overheating due to poor cable managements or improper airflow.

This is super tricky because upgrading a laptop processor,GPU or any other components is almost impossible for the average pc enthusiast. This is due to the fact that all the components are soldered to the motherboard in most cases.

get a more recent cpu like the 4670k if you want to be more future proof but its pretty good tho
