    i disconnected the hdd and the pc booted everytime after, but i can't be sure untill tomorrow. Could a bad HDD cause all of this?

    the only things left are the cpu and the gpu, everything else tested. if it was the gpu, the monitor wouldn't show a thing. so that means it's .. the cpu i guess. i am going to see if i still have warranty. idk anymore. i am going to fix it and sell it, im done.

    the new motherboard has some lights that indicates possible problems. the yellow(dram) light is blinking when the pc enters the state i described. the same friend that gave me the psu also gave me his ram stick (which are compatible) to test if it works. it still didnt't work. i have now two...

    it seems to work, i'll test again tomorrow morning when it's cold and come back with updates.

    I just tried with the minimum peripherials, just displayport and power cable. still not working :))). Tomorrow i am buying a new motherboard, one i've also installed twice for two friends: asus b450f gaming the first gen. i will come back with updates. Thank you for your help.

    i have downgraded the bios to an earlier version, now i am waiting for the pc to "cool down" and see if it worked.

    tested both ram sticks individually. still the same. got another psu from a friend and its still the same

    I am now going to call some friends and see if i can borrow a psu. When in changed the thermal paste i unmounted the cooler then took out the cpu from it's socket. i cleaned it and the heatsink properly and I put them back(triangle on the cpu aligned with the triangle from the mobo's socket)...

    i'll call some of my friends and see if i can borrow a psu. i tried removing one of the ram stick and it boots, but the pc was warm so i can't test unless it's cold.

    shoud i try another psu even if i tested the psu with a multimeter?

    yes, right now if i turn it off it does boot. But if I leave it overnight and try tomorrow to boot it i will take up to 6 times to actually boot :))

    to test this faster, it there a way to "cool down" the pc to it's original coolness if you know what i mean? or the only thing i can do it's to wait couple of hours?

    I don't really want to spend 150$ on a motherboard if the problem persists.
