OCZ Vector 180 960GB SSD Review

Wait. Forced shut downs screw up SSDs? I overclock a lot and I've done at least 100 forced shut downs, and my SanDisk Extremes (I not II) are still working as good as ever.

Amazon's Fire TV Can Be a Data Hog

Fun fact, there are massive sections of "dark fiber" (unused fiber) between cities, the problem lies with the last mile connection. Even then, DOCSIS 3.1 allows for 10 gig down/1 up over copper, and fiber is far from a bottleneck, so I don't see the logic in claiming that they're imposing...

    AMD prices coming down

I noticed that the litecoin boom is receding, and I was wondering if now would be the right time to buy an R9 290x (I prefer it over the 780Ti because of the extra vram, I heard bf4 uses a lot) or if I should wait another month or so.

Crossfire, second card dead/not reporting properly

Well, I started up my computer after switching the card order (Put the 7870 on the bottom) I hear a grinding noise, the fans stop, and then my 7870 starts smoking. I suppose I will be contacting Arctic about a faulty GPU cooler.

Crossfire, second card dead/not reporting properly

I've been running a crossfire between a 7870 and an R9 270X (I know, not officially supported, but its been running flawlessly for over a week) and just today, my ASUS Sabertooth 990FX threw out a VGA LED error, and then it would resume booting. I get into Windows, check Catalyst Control Center...

    Windows 7 on a RAID 0 Array

So, about a week or two ago, I installed Windows 7 on a RAID 0 SSD array. After the pain in the ass installation, Windows 7 insisted that I had disk errors and every time on start up it would force me to run a Disk Check, 37 times to be exact, and the results would com back clean. Finally, after...

Gigabyte 7870 GHz edition shuts computer off at 80C

Quick question before I consider buying a VGA cooler, does it void the warranty like replacing a CPU cooler?

Gigabyte 7870 GHz edition shuts computer off at 80C

Good day random people of the internet, I recently overclocked my GPU to about 1200 core/1300 memory with the voltage at 1.3V and power limit at +20% (all via MSI Afterburner) and I noticed that in Furmark that my system shuts down when the card hits about 80 degrees Celsius. I'm assuming that...

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX no RAID prompt

For the longest time when I would boot up my computer, I would see a RAID prompt, and ignore it. Now, I try to RAID two new San Disk Extreme 240GBs that I just got and I cant seem to get the prompt to show, the computer just boots into Windows, which is stored on another Hard drive. I have the...
