    Asus Strix 980ti Gaming

I've been trying to find any differences between the normal gaming edition and the OC edition. It seems to me that they are both the same card. The OC edition just has a factory over clock. Can't I just overclock it myself to get the same performance and save a couple of dollars?

    Linux 14.04 breaks internet connection

Ok I think I have come to the conclusion that it may just be our router. It has been giving us trouble in the past, nothing like what I experienced a few days ago. Thats why I assumed that is was Ubuntu but I've been using it no problem for the past 3 hours. I'll just say it was a bad...

Why doesn't my new computer register my headphones?

OK so I looked on my Dad's dell and he also has realtek however its the dell version. It seems like Dell for some reason is limiting what you can do for some reason, which is dumb. I look and see if there is a way to install the realtek HD audio manager or if there is another way around this.

Why doesn't my new computer register my headphones?

It should look something like this Then click the button in the right hand corner that should say device advance settings and check the 2nd option under playback device. If you don't check that box then you won't be able to split your speakers and headphones

    Linux 14.04 breaks internet connection

ok my last post doesn't really help my problem, really all that told me was my windows pc has a firewall and my linux laptop doesn't, which I already knew. I used the laptop for a good 20 min with no problems so I'm wondering if it's possible that the linux laptop is, for some reason, trying to...

Why doesn't my new computer register my headphones?

Ok if your problem is that both your speakers and headphones are listed as the same device try this. Right click the sound icon on your taskbar and click sounds, then find "Speakers", right click it and click show disabled devices. Your headphones have to be plugged in for it to show up. Then...

Why doesn't my new computer register my headphones?

So let me see if I understand correctly. You want to use your headphones and your speakers at the same time but send different sounds to each of them? Also if you had headphones in how would you hear your speakers?
